    Hello, I’m Erin, and welcome to my data analytics portfolio! I am an emerging data analyst based in San Francisco, California, with a fresh perspective and a passion for uncovering insights through data. Having recently completed a data analytics bootcamp at UC Berkeley, I am eager to apply my newly acquired skills to more real-world challenges and drive data-driven decisions.



    My Journey

    Born and raised in California, my career journey has been diverse and enriching. I initially earned a Bachelor of Science in Web Design in 2018, which sparked my interest in technology and analytics. My professional experiences range from managing office operations at a general contractor in the Bay Area to working in the superyacht industry, where I honed my organizational and problem-solving skills.

    My transition to data analytics was driven by a desire to delve deeper into the world of data and leverage it to create meaningful impact. The UC Berkeley bootcamp provided a comprehensive education in data analysis, machine learning, and data visualization, equipping me with the tools needed to thrive in this field.



    Skills and Expertise

    Though new to data analytics, I bring a unique blend of skills and experiences to the table:

     Data Analysis:
      Proficient in using SQL and Python for data manipulation and analysis.
     Data Visualization:
      Creating clear and impactful visualizations with Tableau, Matplotlib, and other visualization libraries.
     Machine Learning:
     Building and deploying predictive models to extract valuable insights from data.
     ETL Processes:
      Designing efficient ETL workflows to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
     Statistical Analysis:
      Applying statistical methods to validate hypotheses and inform decision-making.


    Professional Experience

    Currently, I serve as an office manager at a general contractor in the Bay Area, where I oversee office operations and ensure smooth business functioning. My prior experience in the superyacht industry has also given me a unique perspective on luxury service and client satisfaction, which I bring to my analytical work.



    Education

    I hold a Bachelor of Science in Web Design from California State University, Monterey Bay, which laid the foundation for my technical skills and analytical thinking. My recent completion of the UC Berkeley Data Analytics Bootcamp has further solidified my expertise in data analytics and prepared me to tackle complex data challenges.
